Paramount+ in celebrating Black History Month on Stargaze as Star Trek: Discovery's Sonequa Martin-Green and Star Trek: Lower Decks' Tawny Newsome discuss the importance of black narratives across various genres including sci-fi. I Created the Key artwork and developed the logo and the animation concepts as well as all the social and marketing design around the show. We had to create something that was connected to the Paramount brand while still having its own identity, you notice in the Star Gaze logo there are a ring of stars around the word like the Paramount logo. We felt like the gold embellishment gave it a more award or celebrity star studded look, while keeping the brands colors consistent throughout.
